"we don't want people talking on the ride"

I have had probably the best week of my program with the amount of laughs I've had with my friends... it has been nonstop shits and giggles.  Friday night, we headed back to Backbooth in downtown Orlando, for what is probably going to be our weekly 80's night. We pregamed at mine & Emma's with a bit of Roxanne and some drinking games before heading out. Once again it was an amazing night, ended up dancing on the stage and getting asked to leave because the music was off and the staff wanted to head home.... oops!

Saturday was another fun day of work, consisting of my usual toys/kidcot/kidcot/cart... I <3 Saturday shifts... I managed to have a quiet evening on Saturday cause Sunday was always going to be epic...
It was Char's first time at Harry Potter World, so obviously we headed there early so she could get her ticket, then we headed straight to HP world!! I have never seen anybody so excited in my life, she was so cute!! We headed straight to the Forbidden Journey (of course) and decided to do the line so Char could see everything... the wait was 45 minutes, so plenty of time for us to leave our bags in the lockers that were free for 1hr 10mins... that was until we got right next to the Sorting Hat and the ride broke down!! It was down for about 20 minutes before they got it working again, which ment we had to pay to get our bags back, but no biggie!! We then went for lunch and a butterbeer, before heading to Universal where we managed to do the Mummy 5 times in a row, Rip Ride Rockit, the Simpsons and Men In Black. It was awesome!! Char then headed home and I went out at CityWalk for Robin’s birthday with Emma and some of her friends, it was so SO nice to be out with other people and have a different type of night out. Had alot of fun and met some great people.

So after that amazing day off this week has gotten pretty shit. I worked Monday, felt alittle under the weather so had an early night before my 14hr EMH shift on Tuesday, but come Tues morning I felt like shit... I went to work and nearly blacked out on Queens after being on the Cart, I was then sick and had a really bad pain in my stomach, so my manager ROS’d (release of service) me so I could sleep. I called in Wednesday and took it easy, went in Thursday and was ER’d before the Harry Potter marathon with Katherine and Emma (which was EPIC), and my lovely lovely managers gave me an ADO (authorized day off) for the Friday so I could rest up, which they didn’t have to, but the great thing about being here is that your managers are your friends, they look after you. A few of the ones we have are like surrogate parents for the year...A-MAZ-ING. So again I rested, hung out with Riyad and Alex, brought some food, had a starbucks, but the pain had spread to my back, so I thought it was from carrying the shopping home...had an early night, but then woke Saturday in more pain than I thought possible, so off to centracare I went.... bracing myself for the bill.
Centracare were amazing. The staff were so helpful, even when my insurers were being arseholes and refusing to pay up front... the doctor knew that they weren’t being very compliant and that I had to pay it, so rather than charging me $365 for seeing her, the tests they did and antibitoics, she gave me the tests and antibiotics for free, and only charged me $95 to see her. I could have hugged her! It was such a relief.

So now, like 4 days later I’m still sick, still off work, still got Kidney pain just waiting for these antibiotics to kick in. My friends have been unbelievable, however down you might get here there is always someone there to pick you back up <3. Yesterday morning my friend Katherine showed up with a care package, with orange juice, gatorade, milk duds, a GALAXY and apples! It was so kind of her. I've had friends renting movies and coming over so I'm not on my own. People are awesome.
